The light has a manual on/ off button on the side. Once the light is switched on, it is operated based on a daylight sensor - dusk to dawn [automatically comes up at night and off during the day for a recharge].
For more advanced control options we suggest you may have a look at this solar powered batten light. It has two models: with motion sensor unit and without. Both options come with remote control.
For this product, the manufacturer offer's 12 months general warranty for manufacturing faults and defects including the solar panel, electronics and battery.
The solar light string is covered with a 12-months standard warranty against any manufacturer’s fault.
Dear Craig, we have not seen such a solution, unless an electrician can make this happen. From our perspective, it would be easier to install solar light with a motion sensor that will be turned once someone or car approaches within the range (usually about 10m, 120'). The battery is replaceable. We supply batteries and other spare parts for the solar lights we sell.
The height of the mounting part that attaches to the wall is 13cm and the width is 8.5cm
There are few lights with a timer that can be set to turn the light off at night after lighting up for certain hours. It works this way: the light turns on automatically at night and stays on for selected hours then turns off.
Unfortunately, we do not have a solution that would allow switching the light on and off at a certain time.
